Meet Dr. Weber

Dr. Matthew Weber is a Nebraska native, born and raised in Ogallala, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Nebraska’s College of Dentistry. Dr. Weber went on to complete his Medical Doctorate (MD) and residency of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.

The UT Southwestern oral and maxillofacial surgery program is widely considered to be one of the most elite residency training programs in the worldUpon completing the program’s medical school, Dr. Weber received exceptional training through his rotations in general surgery, neurosurgery and anesthesia at various University Hospitals, most notably Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX.

The UT Southwestern Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency has one of the highest case volumes of any oral and maxillofacial surgery program in the country, including complex trauma, oncology, cosmetic, and dentoalveolar cases. Through this residency training Dr. Weber served as chief resident of Facial and Oral Surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, University of Texas Southwestern hospitals, Dallas Veterans Affairs hospital, and John Peter Smith hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Dr. Weber’s residency training was primarily focused on facial trauma, TMJ surgery, orthognathic jaw surgery, facial reconstructive surgery, oral, head and neck cancer, infection management of the mouth, face and neck, anesthesia, advanced dental implant surgery and bone grafting.

After completing his residency program, Dr. Weber worked as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon for Facial and Oral Surgery Associates in Fort Worth, TX while his office in Kearney was finishing construction. He gained expertise in treating complex full mouth dental implant cases as well as multiple and single tooth implant procedures. 

After living in Texas for several years to pursue his education and training, Dr. Weber and his wife, Carly, chose to return to their home state of Nebraska in 2019 to serve the families and community which helped raise and develop them personally and professionally. 

Dr. Weber shares a philosophy of exceptional patient care above all else. He brings with him the skills and knowledge from a first-rate education and training paired with compassion and bedside manner of a surgeon who cares deeply about his patients’ well-being and oral surgery experience.
